2009 Ford F-150: Over 8,700 Ford F-150 trucks have been recalled for a problem with the break stop light. The light may not illuminate or may have a delay when the break pedal is depressed. This problem can lead to an accident.
2009 Chevrolet Traverse: GM is recalling about 15,000 Traverse SUVs due to a problem with the park brake cable link. Apparently, the connector can fracture when the brake pedal is pressed, increasing the risk of a crash.
2009 Dodge Ram: More than 37,000 Dodge Ram pickup trucks have been recalled because of a problem with the manual temperature control, which can make the windshield defrost and defog malfunction.
2009 Cadillac, Chevrolet and GM Vehicles: GM has recalled over 27,000 GM Cadillac Escalade and Escalade Hybrid, ESV and EXT versions, GMC Canyon, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Yukon hybrid trucks and Chevrolet Avalanche, Colorado, Suburban, Tahoe and Tahoe hybrid. The fuel system may have a sealing problem, which can cause water to seep in. Water can cause various problems and could increase the risk of an accident.
